Summit Lake Lodge is situated on Summit Lake, which is 80 miles south of Anchorage on the Kenai Peninsula in the heart of the Chugach National Forest. Our location near the Seward Highway makes it easy for guests to reach the lodge from Anchorage or points to the south such as Homer or Seward. The lodge is also accesible by float plane.
Summit Lake Lodge is comprised of 7.8 acres of fee simple land surrounded by Chucach National Forest, offering Plenty of acreage to take it to its next stage. Summit Lake Lodge still has one half of property undeveloped!

The area is the first to get snow and last to have snow. We get about 5 to 6 ft of standing snow with about 25 ft of total snowfall each winter. In the past the lodge operated for 18 years as an all season lodge. Summit Lake is an especialy magical place in the fall and there is nothing like a landsape blanketed in deep snow.
Operate the lodge as a summer only business or year-round.
