We kind of stumbled on to Summit Lake Lodge by accident. Glad we did. What a jewel! Very nice place, we were only going to spend a night ended up spending four. Great fishing down the road at the Russian and Kenai Rivers. Some real nice hiking trails in the area and the Lodge setting is magnificent! Highly recommend the Lodge, very friendly staff and food is wonderful.

The Gift Shop at Summit Lake Lodge

gift shop

For a wide variety of local handicrafts, spend some time browsing in the gift shop. From ornate jewelry featuring genuine Alaskan gold nuggets, to Eskimo carvings, souvenir T-shirts, sweatshirts, coffee mugs and baseball caps, the gift shop has something for everyone. Don't forget to pick up a few postcards for those unfortunate enough to be left at home.

Also in the gift shop is a wide variety of ice-cream! Select from many different flavors of hand made ice-cream - Yum!. If you don't feel like ice cream, how about a cappuccino! Summit Lake Lodge has a selection of coffees that are sure to please. Even if you don't care for shopping, the gift shop is a sight to behold, created from local logs, rough hewn on site, with a beamed ceiling and a spectacular view from the back deck.
